The City of Easton celebrated one of the greatest creations known to man this weekend, once again dedicating an entire festival to Nature’s Candy: Bacon.
The Fifth Annual PA Bacon Fest took place in and around Easton’s Centre Square, featuring a bevy of food vendors who got creative with their bacon-flavored offerings. Those in attendance got to take in the sights, smells, tastes, and sounds — all of which were as pleasant as the weather that served as a fairly comfortable backdrop for November’s first weekend in the Lehigh Valley.
Of course, we were primarily on-hand Sunday to take in the festival’s musical lineup, which was curated this year by our good friend and Acoustic Kitty Project frontman, Carter Lansing. The local performers chosen for this year’s Bacon Fest added a varied ambiance to the day, from a relaxed afternoon atmosphere (Alex Radus Trio, Pentley Holmes) to a partying mood (Dear Anna).
Here are some of the artists we checked out throughout the day. More is coming from the weekend’s festival. Stay tuned!
