Christmas spirit was in full abundance on Saturday night at Hellertown Historical Society, as some of the Valley’s best and brightest musicians came together for the first annual Miracle at the Mill holiday show.
Led by local singers Ali Santos and Fredrick Douglas, the intimate night of holiday standards — complete with all of the holiday trimmings of home in the Mill’s cozy common space — also featured Santos’ “Two Girls and a Sax” partner Krystle Pierce, local sax men Bill Lance and Ron Goosely, and soul singer Charlie Brown.
Of course, Miracle at the Mill would not have been a holiday show without giving back to the community. A silent auction was held at the event, featuring items like a signed boxing glove from Easton’s own Larry Holmes, with proceeds going to purchase gifts for local children who have suffered domestic violence.
All in all, Miracle at the Mill was a highly enjoyable night of holiday music from supremely talented local artists. Of course, we had a camera in the house and got some rather festive shots.
