Today, Lehigh Valley Underground is honored to announce a partnership with Fig Bethlehem.
The partnership will see Lehigh Valley Underground contribute content highlighting our local music scene to Fig’s quarterly printed publication. Our contributions to this incredible arts and culture resource will include artist features, event previews, and more, gaining additional exposure for local music and the people making it happen.
Additionally, LVU Founder/Editor-in-Chief Gerard Longo will be contributing content periodically to Fig Bethlehem online as the newest Fig Voices blogger, joining a team of community members with insight into the Lehigh Valley’s bubbling culture.
“Lehigh Valley Underground is always looking for ways to connect our community through local music, which is why our new partnership with Fig Bethlehem will be great for our music scene,” Longo said. “Through this partnership, local music will reach a wider audience, making more people aware of the art being created in their own backyard.”
For the uninitiated, Fig Bethlehem can best be described with this excerpt from its website:
“Fig is a hyper-local guide to shopping, dining, arts, and entertainment that brings both voice and vision to great small destinations… We believe in the power of creative communication to inspire thriving and connected communities.”
You’ll first see LVU-related content in the upcoming Spring issue of Fig Bethlehem, which will launch Tuesday, March 14 and feature a piece on our founder talking about Lehigh Valley Underground and its role in the community. Make sure you sign up to receive your copy of Fig at this link, and never miss an issue!
