The May-riffic Music Festival — presented by Lehigh Valley Underground and American Spirits Roadhouse on Saturday, May 13 — will feature a diverse lineup of rock, Americana, country, and more.
Today, we address the “rock” portion.
We are proud to announce that we will be joined in the nighttime hours by five incredible local rock acts, who are as follows:
The alternative rockers have opened for well-known acts from whom they draw their influence, including Live, Candlebox, Warrant, and LA GUNS. They are actively working on new music in anticipation of a 2017 release.
The power rock trio has gained continuous popularity in local rock circles for their crafty songwriting and great live performances. Their new album, “Reach,” has received rave reviews, and they continue to work on Album #3.
The band’s hotly-anticipated EP, “Truck Stop Sushi,” is expected this spring. Fronted by the impressive vocal range and engaging performance of Mike Roi, the band has performed at a number of notable festivals.
The night will certainly get heavier when the hard rockers take the stage. Their impactful single, “Alone,” was heard last year on UFC programming, and they are currently in the studio working on an EP set for release in 2017.
The notorious Northampton-based quartet released a full-length, full-intensity LP titled “Here’s To You” in 2016. They’re hard at work on new music, and will likely bring it out to play during their entertaining live show on May 13.
Many more May-riffic lineup announcements are still to come. Check back here at LVU and on Facebook for updates.
