Live Your (Adult) Dreams of Being a Rock Star

If you’re like many adults who have never picked up an instrument — or who, at the very least, haven’t picked one up in years — you may think that your chance to live your dream of being a rock star is in the rear view, left at some distant exit around prom night.

At Lehigh Valley Underground, we are happy to inform you of just how incorrect you are.

School of Rock of Easton and Allentown — whose efforts in¬†shaping the Valley’s next generation of bona fide musical talent earned them the 2017 Lehigh Valley Music Award for Outstanding Music Supporter (Organization) — is now offering adult classes for anyone who has the desire to make music a part of his or her grown-up life.

Students can learn at their own pace and proficiency level from School of Rock instructors on their instrument of choice, including guitar, bass, drums, keys, and vocals. The School of Rock is also offering adult group jams every Tuesday night beginning at 7:30 p.m., allowing students to rehearse with each other in preparation for larger performances.

If you’re ready to hit the scene with¬†the School of Rock closest to you, visit the organization’s Easton or Allentown websites to get started.
