A Lehigh Valley Health Network oncologist is using his musical talents and experience treating cancer patients to offer a hopeful evening of songs and stories at Miller Symphony Hall.
Dr. Rick Boulay, founder of The Catherine Boulay Foundation and performer whose musical credits include the original album, “Close to Home,” will present “Close to Home: Songs and Lessons of Cancer Survivorship,” an all new and original interactive presentation of song and story geared toward cancer survivors and those who love them.
The event, taking place Saturday, April 29 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 30 at 3 p.m. at Miller Symphony Hall, will feature Dr. Boulay performing songs in the style of Josh Groban while exploring powerful lessons of cancer survivorship.
Tickets are $25, with all proceeds going to support local and national cancer charities. A $40 donation will also include an autographed copy of one of Dr. Boulay’s CDs: “Hope,” “Peace,” “Love,” or “Close to Home.”
