In February, local musicians banded together to throw a fundraiser for local singer-songwriter Scott Marshall, who had recently embarked on the road to recovery from a battle with cancer.
In June, Marshall will once again return the favor to his local community.
On Saturday, June 3, Scott Marshall and Marshall’s Highway will team with South Bethlehem’s Steel Pub and Steel Ice Center to present a childhood cancer benefit of epic proportions. From 3 p.m. to midnight, Marshall and his band will be joined by a host of special guests, members of the local hockey community, and special guests with the goal of raising money and awareness for the pediatric cancer centers in our region.
So far, artists on the bill include multiple Lehigh Valley Music Award winners and nominees, such as Jordyn Kenzie; The Cherrybombs; Paula Battavio of Girl Crue; Chelsea Lyn Meyer; Mike Stanley of Stereotype; Band of Survivors; Robert Singley; Secret Treaty; and Tommy Giovarelli and Bryn Duffield of Doubting Thomas. More artists are expected to be added to the bill.
