You can tell that Allentown JazzFest is getting close when Preview Night rolls around. Thursday night, got their first taste of this year’s bold new artwork and enjoyed live music inside of the festival’s newest — and perhaps most interesting — performance space.
Taking place inside of Allentown Art Museum, the evening featured the music of Dan DeChellis Trio, and served as a successful test run for the performances to come at the museum during JazzFest on Saturday, May 6. Those in attendance also got a first look at the official 2017 Allentown JazzFest poster, designed by JazzFest Creative Director Zachary Hartzell.
The poster is now available online for $40, and will also be available for purchase at select live events throughout the festival. All proceeds from sale of the posters will support Allentown JazzFest programming. You can view the full poster design and pick yours up here.
Allentown JazzFest runs May 3-7 throughout the city’s Hamilton District. For full schedules and more information, visit allentownjazzfest.org.
