On Monday, June 5, The Quinn Spinn — the Official Podcast of Lehigh Valley Underground — will be a podcast no more when it makes its live debut on WLVU: The Sound of The Underground.
We’re just a little excited for the premiere and the launch of WLVU, in case you couldn’t tell. With that, we’re doubly stoked to announce our lineup of guests who will join the show in its first month as a live radio broadcast.
But first, a word from our sponsors at Civic Theatre of Allentown…
OK, here we go! Full descriptions appear after the below image…
The new era of The Quinn Spinn kicks off on Monday, June 5, we will be joined by John Paul DeBard, our partner in crime and Station Director of WLVU. This will be your entry point into our vision for WLVU: The Sound of the Underground, and you’ll learn about how this collaboration came together to form the radio station you will soon know and love!
The musical guests start the following week on June 12, when Carter Lansing of Acoustic Kitty Project stops by. The Americana band has been hard at work on new material, and we’re hoping that Carter can share some details on when we can expect a release.
You know him for his regionally-renowned, high-energy blues rock. Now, get to know James Supra on The Quinn Spinn when he joins us on June 19. We’ll be previewing tracks from Supra’s forthcoming release, and hear all about his summer and fall plans.
Finally, The Quinn Spinn closes out the month on June 26 with Maverick da Roninn, a Brooklyn-born, Bethlehem-based nerdcore rapper. Maverick da Roninn is preparing a summer release of his project, “Gamers Interlude 2,” and stops in for a great conversation about the album and what it takes to succeed in any genre.
