A Venue with a View
Our friends at Rocking the Valley hosted an easygoing Sunday evening of folk music Sunday evening at the newly-restored Camel’s Hump Farm, located at 1311 Santee Mill Rd. in Bethlehem.
The night featured tunes from Lehigh Valley artists Frank Porter, Jason Hinkle, Steven Christopher, and Sara Keany, who blended a mixture of originals and covers to make the event, dubbed Rocking the Valley’s Folk Fest, a success.
Interesting to note about the site of the show: Camel’s Hump Farm is on the estate of Archibald Johnston, which was slated for commercial and residential redevelopment. That was until 2012, when the “Friends of Johnston” formed to ensure the estate’s restoration and re-purposing. More can be learned at the farm’s official website.
It was also a beautiful night, which led us to capture some nice shots. Here they are!
