To close out July, Lehigh Valley Underground and American Spirits Roadhouse are teaming up once again.
This time, it’s for a Sunday twin bill that will feature talent from near and far.
Rock the Roadhouse, co-presented by LVU and ASR on Sunday, July 30, will begin at 6 p.m. and will feature local rocker Julius alongside Sonar Lights, a heavy rock band coming all the way from Fort Worth, Texas.
Julius, the stage name of singer-songwriter W. Julius Meyer, and his band have been playing select gigs throughout the Lehigh Valley as they gear up to release their debut album, “Better Life.” The band also consists of Mel Rake (Drums), Brian Kibler (Guitar), Chris Boschi (Bass), and Linda Schafer (Keys).
Sonar Lights consists of Darren Wise (bass/vocals), George Miadis (guitar/lead vocals), and Doug McKenna (drums). Rock the Roadhouse will be one of the band’s stops on its Fall of Babel Tour, which the trio will embark upon later this month in support of its recent release, “Babelonia.”
Tickets for Rock the Roadhouse are $10 at the door. For updates and more information, stay tuned to Lehigh Valley Underground or LVU on Facebook.
