‘Make Art Local’ Documentary Surpasses Fundraising Goal

Make Art Local,” the documentary from Riverside Films that will celebrate and investigate the history and future of grassroots arts in Bethlehem, has surpassed its fundraising goal of $9,670 to bring the project to life.

The film’s Kickstarter campaign brought in a total of $10,208 from 120 backers, which will allow for the completion of the project’s production phase. Billed as the story of “a steel town turned arts town,” the film interviews prominent individuals on Bethlehem’s grassroots arts scene to tell the story of a vibrant community’s potential impact on a region.

With production goals now met, Riverside Films will now turn its attention to completing the program, which it has tentatively slated for a July 2018 release. Stay tuned to the project’s official Facebook page for updates.
