We haven’t even gotten to the inaugural edition of the Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series, and already, the movement is growing throughout South Bethlehem.
Today, we are proud to announce the addition of two new artists – and one new venue – to the September 1 lineup, bringing our totals up to 12 and 9, respectively.
First, at the Godfrey Daniels stage, The Beautiful Distortion will be joined by the acoustic stylings of Not For Coltrane. The project of singer-songwriter and Godfrey’s mainstay Michael Duck, Not For Coltrane is self-described as “a guy from Bethlehem with a guitar and a love for blending folk and alt-rock in unexpected ways.” Not For Coltrane will take the stage at 6:30 p.m., with The Beautiful Distortion set to go on at 8 p.m.
Across the street, Molly’s Irish Grille & Sports Pub (8 E. 4th St.) will be officially joining the First Friday festivities. Joining them at 6 p.m. will be Brian Kibler, an Easton-based singer-songwriter who fuses styles across the sphere of rock to come up with his own unique sound.
