The Full Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series October Lineup
Earlier this month, we announced that Billy Bauer Band and Acoustic Kitty Project would be teaming up to take the Godfrey Daniels stage during the next installment of the Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series on Friday, October 6.
Now, they have some company – at Godfrey Daniels and all over South Bethlehem!
Dave Fry, the local legend and folk musician who founded South Side’s revered listening room, will be opening up the night at Godfrey Daniels at 6:30 p.m. Fry’s set will be followed as announced by Acoustic Kitty Project at 7:30 p.m. and Bauer finishing the night with a set beginning at 8:30 p.m. Please note that Godfrey’s will collect a $10 suggested donation at the door, which will support the artists performing in the venue that night.
Also noteworthy is the fact that new venue will be joining the festivities this October: The Banana Factory. The communal arts space, owned and operated by ArtsQuest, will feature its usual full slate of First Friday arts activities with the musical support of singer-songwriter Brittany Ramaglia (5:30 p.m.) and buzzworthy pop duo January Noon (7 p.m.), the latter of whom recently appeared on WFMZ’s Music Monday broadcast.
There’s much more First Friday fun where that came from! Venues returning to the fold will include Color Me Mine Lehigh Valley, which will host a twin bill of singer-songwriters: Brandon Bors (6:30 p.m.) and theLionhearted (8 p.m.); Comfort Suites Hill to Hill Grille, which will host teen performer Julia Sommer (6:30 p.m.); Molly’s Irish Grille and Sports Pub, who will welcome Brian Kibler back once more (6-9 p.m.); and SouthSide 313, where folk-punks Alex Mery & The Townsmen will be on-hand beginning at 7 p.m.
