On November 3, #LVUFirstFriday will catch a case of the blues.
That’s because Dutch’s Basement Blues Band, the iconic collaborative featuring renowned, gravel-voiced harmonica player The Dutchman, will be headlining the Godfrey Daniels portion of the evening.
According to GodfreyDaniels.org, “The Dutchman is a well-known blues front man and harmonica player in the Greater Lehigh Valley combining his vocals and harmonica for The Groovemasters, The Midnight Creeps, and Thermos Jackson & The Albinos. During 20 years of stage performance, he’s shared the stage with such greats as Eddie C. Campbell, Kenny Blue Ray, Ann Rabson, Charlie Musselwhite, Steve Guyger, Adam Gussow, Todd Wolfe, Mike Dugan, Jack Murray, (and) Johnny ‘T’ Thompson.” The Dutchman has performed internationally with his various projects over the course of his career, with a show consisting of original material that is constantly evolving.
This portion of the #LVUFirstFriday lineup begins at 8 p.m. for a $10 suggested donation. Keep an eye on LVU for updates, including a full First Friday lineup, scheduled to hit very soon!
