Our monthly Friday night party in South Bethlehem continues on November 3, and we have another exciting lineup that promises to be as diverse and interesting as any we’ve had yet.
With that, we are proud to present the November lineup for the Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series, presented in conjunction with our community partners at SouthSide Arts District.
Coming up, we have 10 performers — nine of whom are making their #LVUFirstFriday debut — across eight venues. Three of the venues — RC Vintage, Sotto Santi, and Tally Ho Tavern — are new to the experience, while The Banana Factory, Color Me Mine Lehigh Valley, Comfort Suites Hill to Hill Grille, Godfrey Daniels, and Molly’s Irish Grille and Sports Pub return.
Some other notes of interest:
- An early jump: November’s edition of #LVUFirstFriday begins earlier than ever, with The Bombshell Sisters kicking things off at 4 p.m. at RC Vintage.
- Island vibes: Reggae will make its genre debut at First Friday, when Barrymon I&I brings their authentic Caribbean sounds to open the night at Godfrey Daniels.
- Going ‘Dutch’: Internationally-renowned bluesman Daniel “The Dutchman” Diefenderfer will bring his harmonica prowess and gravely voice to Godfrey Daniels, to give us something entirely new and exciting.
- A mini Star City Showcase: Hip hop will also have a presence at #LVUFirstFriday for the first time, when nerdcore rapper Maverick da Roninn and Bak Pak Rap artist Blind Richi split a twin bill at Sotto Santi.
