PHOTOS: Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series: November 2017
November’s edition of the Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series featured our most diverse lineup yet. Performances from 10 artists across eight venues spanned more genres than ever, including rock, blues, hip hop, reggae, and even showtunes.
It felt good to mix things up, and we came out of Friday night feeling proud that this evening represented such a complete cross-section of the Valley’s music scene. We’re all about giving opportunities to all corners of our music scene, and it’s even better when the people from those corners come out and use their opportunities to shine.
Indeed, the talent on display was as formidable as ever, and we enjoyed hearing a little bit of what everyone had to offer. With that, we thank our November First Friday performers: Barrymon Native I&I, Blind Richi, The Bombshell Sisters, Brian Kibler, Chelsea Lyn Meyer, Dutch’s Basement Blues Band, The Hook, Jay-T Rocks, Maverick da Roninn, and Werner Sommer. We look forward to hanging with them all again soon.
And, of course, thanks to our host venues for giving this music a place to be heard: The Banana Factory, Color Me Mine Lehigh Valley, Godfrey Daniels, Hill to Hill Grille, Molly’s Irish Grille & Sports Pub, RCMoore Vintage,Sotto Santi, Tally Ho.
Of course, thanks to our community partners at SouthSide Arts District for making this happen with us, and to our brand new series sponsors at Banko Beverage Company for doing their part to make First Friday even better.
And, as always, thanks to everyone who came out in support of the musicians, the local businesses, and us. We can’t wait to see you in December (which you’ll be hearing about very soon…)
In the meantime, Gerard and Lisa tag teamed the photo duties last night. Take a look!
