On Sunday afternoon, Godfrey Daniels will become the spot for bluegrass fans of all ages. The legendary South Bethlehem music venue will host bluegrass performer Jenni Lyn Gardner with special guests, Serene Green.
Jenni Lyn, a Grammy-nominated bluegrass musician and member of Della Mae, is one of the young shining faces in the bluegrass world today. With her powerful vocals and driving mandolin work, her live shows are more than just another show, but an experience. Her latest release, “Burn Another Candle,” has been getting rave reviews throughout the music community.
Serene Green is a quartet of young bluegrass musicians who have made their impact in a short span of time. Guitarist Michael Johnson and Quentin Fisher (mandolin) are founding members of the Lehigh Valley-based group. With additions of Shane McGeehan on bass and Steve Leonard on banjo, the foursome has made a name for themselves throughout eastern Pennsylvania.
