We’ve already begun rolling out the lineup for the #LVUFirstFriday on Friday, April 6. You already read here that Billy Bauer Band will be returning to Godfrey Daniels with special guest Evan Miklosey. Likewise, we told you yesterday that singer-songwriter Jordan White will be stepping in over at Molly’s Irish Grille & Sports Pub.
We’re still working on the finishing touches to April’s lineup, but we can tell you most of what we have in store.
Singer-songwriter Neil Grover, whose “Whoa” EP is set for a mid-April release, will join us and Fig Bethlehem at a special engagement at Touchstone Theatre (321 E. 4th St.) that night. Fig is hosting another of its “Fig Nights” inside of the theatre’s lobby before their presentation of Dictators for Dummies, an original production written by Touchstone ensemble member Christopher Shorr. Neil will go on at 6:30 p.m., offering his soulful originals (and maybe a few covers) to the folks in attendance.
Also, we remember that we got snowed out in March, so many of the artists who were scheduled to play last month are confirmed to be joining us on April 6. Atown Slim will open the night at EZ Money (20 W. 4th St.) at 5 p.m., while Mosey Beat will perform at The Banana Factory (25 W. Third St.) at 6 p.m. Also confirmed are The Ancient Oaks, reclaiming their 7:30 p.m. slot at Domaci (21 E. Third St.), as well as Tye Vallone, who will perform at SouthSide 313 at 7:30 p.m.
Last but not least, we are working with our longtime friend and supporter Ronnie Stoeckel to bring you late-night programming courtesy of StillCraft Band, who will perform that night at The Funhouse (5 E. 4th St.) beginning at 10 p.m.
OK, that’s not all… we’re still working on rescheduling the other artists from March who aren’t listed above. Once we line venues up for them, we’ll be sure to let you know.
For now, here’s the lineup, presented proudly in conjunction with SouthSide Arts District, Banko Beverage Company and, this month, Fig Bethlehem!
