PHOTOS: Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series, May 2018

With summer-like temperatures and a diverse, powerful lineup of musicians, the Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series rose to another level on Friday.

Of course, this was with the help of our partners SouthSide Arts District and Banko Beverage Co., who added an outdoor beer garden to the festivities along the South Bethlehem Greenway. Patrons of the beer garden’s maiden voyage even had a laid back acoustic performance to enjoy, courtesy of Joe Lule and the Fiddle.

The fun didn’t stop there. Our lineup featured a little bit of everything, from hip hop (NyteXing with special guest Devin Hailey), to Americana (aGirl & aGuy and Carter Lansing of Acoustic Kitty Project), to acoustic pop (Jordan White and January Noon), to blues rock (The Groove Merchants), to a DIY showcase to close the night featuring some emo (theLionhearted), indie pop from out of state (Best Hit TV), and the heaviest, most hardcore #LVUFirstFriday has ever experienced (Widow’s Work).

We thank everyone who came out, all of our fantastic host venues, and all of the performers for once again making South Bethlehem the place to be on the First Friday of May. Enjoy a look at the evening’s festivities below!
