Review: Pool Radio’s ‘Cool Enough’ an Ice Cold Slice of Synth Pop

Pool Radio, the synth pop trio who split their time between Philly and the Lehigh Valley, recently released “Cool Enough,” an early sample of what to expect on the band’s upcoming album.

“Cool Enough” features heavy new wave and alternative influence that captures the groove of Foster the People with the fittingly-frosty soundscape of Planet of Ice-era Minus the Bear, tied together with a distant, reverb-heavy vocal that drifts in and out like a message in a dream.
