A hot and humid evening in Bethlehem was the scene of the biggest, longest, and most eventful installment of the Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series to date.

16 performers graced venues throughout South Bethlehem on Friday night, beginning with Bak Pak Rap‘s in-store performance at EZ Money at 5 p.m., continuing all the way into the wee hours with Mason/Wilson Line at The Funhouse and 610 Underground‘s electronic dance party at The Broadway Social.

In between, attendees got to enjoy South Jersey rockers First of June at the Banko Beverage Co. Beer Garden, where R&B singer Reece Mills would later perform alongside DJ S.him in a last-minute switch from Color Me Mine Lehigh Valley. Local music lovers also enjoyed performances from Jordan White at Molly’s Irish Grille & Sports Pub, Sea Rae at The Broadway Social, Bobby Siegfried at The Funhouse, Matt Dellecker at The Banana Factory, Darin Jellison at Domaci, and an American Foundation for Suicide Prevention benefit featuring The Hook, Dogwood Last, and Terez and Godfrey Daniels.

Indeed, variety was the spice of life on Friday night, and our plan is for that theme to continue all summer long and beyond. Check out a look through our lens below, and stay tuned for soon-to-come July lineup announcements!
