‘Wings and Strings’ Benefit Coming to Hellertown’s Dimmick Park July 28

In the spirit of cancer awareness and making a difference in the community, Scott Marshall is keeping the momentum going from last week’s Concert for the Kids at Steel Pub.

This time, the singer-songwriter is teaming up with the American Cancer Society for a unique benefit at Hellertown’s Dimmick Park.

The benefit, titled “Wings & Strings,” will take place on Saturday, July 28 from 12-8 p.m. and feature local wings, local beer, and local music, with all proceeds going toward the fight against cancer. An array of performers are set for the afternoon, including Marshall’s Highway, Billy Bauer Band, The Ultra Kings, The Mississippi Pig Farmers, Julia Sommer, Dave Goddess Group, Sea Rae & DJ, and Amanda Fania, with special appearances from Lou Franco, Stereotype, Dave Hollingsworth, Kristen Morgenstern, David Perkin, Bill Lance, Sean Liebert, Robin Wentz, and others to be announced.

Stay tuned to LVU for more information between now and July 28, including more in-depth looks at the people behind the benefit and their connections to the cause.
