WATCH: Sonnder Reaches Closure with Final Video, ‘Never Want You Back’

Philly-based alt-rockers Sonnder announced a few months back that they would be going their separate ways. However, it would not be before providing one final parting shot for their fans.

That parting shot, a new single titled “Never Want You Back,” hit YouTube and other digital outlets on Friday, July 13. The angsty rock tune provides closure to the band’s run, hitting hard with its beefy guitar riffs, groovy rhythms, and potent keyboard accents as frontman Ryan Weidman sings about overcoming infidelity by showing a former lover the door.

The video, directed by Dan Case Levitt, was shot on location in New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ and depicts a couple (portrayed by local actors Tristan Wikler and Destiny Gubler) going through similar strife, after the former is discovered to have received a suggestive text message from another woman.

Check out the video below. We wish the members of Sonnder the best in whatever musical endeavors come next!
