After taking a brief summer vacation, the Sounds of the Underground will ring out once again this fall — in a brand new location!
The following is an opinion piece from Ann Thatcher, host of The Balcony Show, Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on WLVU: The Sound of The Underground.
If you are a talented original musician, chances are good that, at some point, you are going to want to record your own song. Given the fact that there are many choices out there when it comes to production – from high-cost producers, to do-it-yourself programs – it may be difficult to decide which way to go when it comes to something so personal.
The first Thursday of June once again brought rock to the stage of Rivals Sports Bar & Restaurant in Easton, the monthly scene of Sounds of The Underground: Live!, presented by WLVU: The Sound of The Underground, The Balcony Show, and Gig Digger Entertainment.
All three of the Valley’s principal cities shine with local music this weekend, making for one Can’t-Miss weekend.
The entertainment options are varied, too, providing something for all tastes. Let’s explore!

Following the success of the inaugural edition of Sounds of The Underground: Live! at Rivals, we are thrilled to announce the next installment of the series on Thursday, June 7.
A new era of live music kicked off at Rivals Sports Bar & Restaurant in Easton on Thursday night, as WLVU: The Sound of The Underground, The Balcony Show, and Gig Digger Music Bookings and Events teamed up to present the first-ever edition of Sounds of The Underground: Live!
In Easton’s Centre Square, the first Thursday of every month will rock just a little bit harder!

The Balcony Show comes at you all-new at 8 p.m. ET. with special guests After Alice, with music from The Beautiful Distortion, Alpha Zero Three, and The Mayan Factor. Then at 9 p.m. ET, Moments welcomes Canadian singer-songwriter Madison Mueller to the show.

Tape Swap Radio is joined by Beaver Fall, PA indie pop band Captain the Sky join us for a Shards Session. we also look back at last year’s new releases by talking with some of the team members involved with Tape Swap to get their picks for “Best DIY Release of 2017.”
At 8 p.m. ET on The Shows We Watch, Cathy and Sean discuss the debut of another one of your classic television favorites. Then at 9 p.m. ET on Then. Now. Whenever, it’s a two-for-one episode where Sean and Jesse explore Judgment Day 2005 and Survivor Series 2009.
