We’re coming up on the end of 2017, which can only mean one thing: it’s Year in Review time!
This week, I’m on a week-long “staycation” from the day job, which has presented me with an opportunity to catch up on sleep and get all of LVU’s pre-Musikfest ducks in a row before things get extra wacky around here.

Three songwriting superpowers will join forces, hitting the Sam Adams Brewhouse at 7735 Adrienne Drive in Breinigsville this Saturday night.
Winter appears to have finally left us! Spring is in the air, and there’s a buzz about all that is to come in the warmer months ahead.
And, true to form, we head into April with another thrilling slate of…
Can’t-Miss Shows of the Week!
On Saturday night, Mardi Gras came to Bethlehem.
While fans of Easton’s Roi and the Secret People anxiously anticipate the band’s forthcoming (and surely delicious) “Truck Stop Sushi” EP, the boys dropped an appetizer to keep people satisfied while they wait.
The Balcony, a locally-based, widely-featured internet radio show hosted by local music enthusiasts Ann Thatcher and Andrew Chervak, kicked off its Showcase series at Bangor’s Broadway Pub on Friday night with well-crafted songs and the stories behind them.
Indeed, the Bastard Sons of Burt Sugarman did ride again.
We’ve made it to a new year full of fresh possibilities. No matter your opinion of 2016, one thing is for certain: 2017 promises to hold just as many, if not more, musical treasures for us between now and December 31.
This week, we start it off with some selections that certainly deserve to be called…
