The Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series concluded for 2017 with a healthy dose of holiday cheer which included, among other things, charitable work, a fun new pub crawl and — of course — a healthy smattering of live, local music throughout South Bethlehem.
This Friday’s already-stacked Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series lineup just got a little more loaded.
What? Just because it’s now officially the holiday season, you thought things were going to slow down around here?
If anything, things are picking up before the end of the year! For evidence, march right into December with these…
Can’t-Miss Shows of the Week
On Friday, December 1, Scott Marshall is bringing his 2017 Christmas Blessings Campaign to the Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series.
The magic this week? It’s in the weekend.
Of course, we’ll be celebrating even bigger and better things for WLVU: The Sound of The Underground up at Broadway Pub this Friday. No matter your flavor, however, there’s a lot to like about what’s coming around the bend in the Valley. Behold these…
Can’t-Miss Shows of the Week!
The Lesson Center and Thirteen Butterflies Production are inviting some of the Valley’s brightest musical stars to shine at the Allentown Masonic Temple (1524 W. Linden St.) on Sunday, September 17 — all in the name of Hurricane Harvey relief.
A rainy Monday was no match for the mighty Scott Marshall & Marshall’s Highway, who kicked off the Americaplatz stage on Day 4 of Musikfest.
The local country rockstar and his band of brothers brought a soulful, spirited performance to Musikfest rooted in the band’s four tenets: faith, hope, music, and love. It was my pleasure to spend the evening on rain-soaked ground with the other people who braved the elements and capture the moments. Hope you enjoy!
Some of you went back to work today after the first weekend of Musikfest. For those who didn’t – or for those who did, but still are in the ‘Festing spirit – good news: there’s still a lot to like about heading out in Bethlehem today.
For sure, we’ll be at the LVMA Musikfest Country Roots Showcase as a co-presenter, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. But, it is our duty to give you options and spread the love. That’s what we’ll do!
Musikfest Five Point Preview: Monday, August 7
Let’s address the elephant in the room: Musikfest begins Friday. Just like last year, you can be sure that Lehigh Valley Underground will have daily previews of the action as the days go by.
Until then, there are plenty of non-‘Fest related activities taking place throughout the area this week, and we’re here to tell you about ‘em!
