Another wet Friday morning led us to move the season finale of our Out to Lunch Concert Series indoors, but that didn’t stop us from having a fun lunch break, one last time in 2018.

Humidity couldn’t keep the crowds away from the South Bethlehem Greenway on Friday afternoon for the first post-Musikfest edition of our Out to Lunch Concert Series with SouthSide Arts District.
Andrew Dunn’s “The House Above The Factory” is a magical journey through life’s ups and downs, told in a way only Andrew Dunn can. The musical arrangements, the lyrics, and the excellent harmonies throughout the album are a true joy to listen to. The title track tells the story of life-changing events that alter the plans you laid when settling in to your first house, and how a house becomes a home.
Saturday night, Godfrey Daniels is presenting a twin bill of two of its homegrown acts.
This is more of an album “preview” than an album review. Gordon Thomas Ward has been sharing stories through song for many years, throughout the Valley and beyond.
The troubadours rule the roost this week. Three out of four of the following Can’t-Miss Shows are showcases where the songs and stories of some of our regions most talented individuals will have a chance to shine.

The rain in Friday’s forecast held off, extending the streak of great music and wonderful times on the South Bethlehem Greenway for our Out to Lunch Concert Series.
Last week, we announced an eclectic and explosive night of rock that we’ll be putting on at The Gallery at Color Me Mine (25 E. Third St.) on Saturday, August 25.
As you might expect, that’s not all we collectively have in store for this summer.
We’ve had good luck with the weather so far in June. Not only did the threat of rain disappear on June 1 for both Out to Lunch and First Friday, but the weather for the past two weeks have been particularly spectacular when the weekend has rolled around!
Originally, instrumental guitar virtuoso Evan Miklosey was slated for the June 1 installment of our Out to Lunch Concert Series. On Thursday afternoon, Evan informed us of an unavoidable conflict, unfortunately having to cancel.
Before he did, though, he graciously lined up a worthy replacement!
