It turned out to be a beautiful night for First Friday in South Bethlehem — and the music was on point, as well!
We’re putting the finishing touches on this Friday’s All-American Celebration for #LVUFirstFriday, jointly and proudly produced alongside a number of partners including SouthSide Arts District, C.F. Martin & Co., Banko Beverage Co., 610 Underground, and Molly’s Irish Grille & Sports Pub.
The first Friday of July is right around the corner, which means it’s time for South Bethlehem to be overtaken with local, independent music of many varieties.
A hot and humid evening in Bethlehem was the scene of the biggest, longest, and most eventful installment of the Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series to date.

This Friday’s Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series lineup is now complete!
A quick note on what you are about to read: this isn’t the final version of our June 2018 Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series lineup, sponsored by SouthSide Arts District and Banko Beverage Co. and set for South Bethlehem on Friday, June 1. We’re still working on finalizing one or two more venues (and their associated acts). So, expect additions to this before too long.
With summer-like temperatures and a diverse, powerful lineup of musicians, the Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series rose to another level on Friday.
We’ve had a busy month so far.
It started with the first #LVUFirstFriday of spring, and then continued this past weekend, when we ventured out to Lancaster for the 10th Annual LAUNCH Music Conference.

Can’t-Miss Shows of the Week!
Earlier this week, the prospect of a possible snowstorm on Friday had us carefully watching the forecast, giving us flashbacks to when we had to cancel the March edition of First Friday.
Fortunately for us, Mother Nature not only showed mercy this time around, but cooperated in a big way by giving us a beautiful spring afternoon for our biggest First Friday since October.
